Founded in 1960 in Penafiel, Bela Vista is currently distinguished in the textile industry as a reference company in terms of clothing production.
We operate in the Portuguese market, however almost 90% of our production is for European customers.

The history of the Confecções Bela Vista began in the year 1960 and, since then, its evolution in the various business or social aspects has been constant, if we analyze the periods that marked its activity in the textile sector.
In the year of foundation the facilities used by only four workers, were located in a garage, in Santa Marta, county of Penafiel.

Fifteen years later, precisely in 1975, he began to make series of costumes.
The year of 1988 was one of great change. The installations were transferred to the Industrial Zone of Penafiel and a new business dynamics was printed.

In 1990, the company strengthened and consolidated its growth, having as exporters absorbed 97% of the production and increasing the social capital and the number of jobs to 240 workers. Finally, in 1991, a change was made to the company’s social pact, Confecções Bela Vista – Jorges Confecções Lda.

In 2016 there was a new transformation into a joint-stock company, Jorges Confecções, S.A.
This year of 2020 the company has already 340 workers in two industrial hubs.

We produce jackets in all their variants, from men, women and children to several renowned brands at national and international level.
We are able to supply the product full price or only cut and make.
